North Andover, MA — Antoinette G. (Montanaro) Pappalardo, 91, of North Andover, died peacefully on Sunday, April 7, 2013, at the Salemhaven Nursing Center in Salem, N.H., with her family by her side. She was the wife of the late Frank Pappalardo.
Born in North Andover in 1922, Antoinette was the daughter of the late Beniamino and Angelina (Bonanno) Montanaro. A graduate of the Johnson High School in North Andover, she went on to work in the North Andover school system as a crossing guard and in the cafeteria. Antoinette enjoyed many hobbies including bowling, crocheting, and bingo and she loved to dance.
She leaves behind her children, Geraldine Terry of Londonderry, N.H., Annmarie Boissoneau of Bedford, N.H., Diane Blanchette of North Andover, Linda Frost of Land 'o Lakes, Fla., and Gaetano Pappalardo of North Andover; as well as 12 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Thomas, Guido, and James Montanaro and Julie Reitano.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are kindly welcome to visiting hours on Tuesday in the Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley St., Methuen, MA from 4 to 8 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10 a.m. in St. Michael's Church, North Andover.
