George Ohanian, 69


formerly of Haverhill — George Ohanian, 69, of Manchester, NH and formerly of Haverhill died Friday, March 8, at Catholic Medical Center, Manchester, NH.

He was born in Haverhill, April 30, 1943 son of the late Charles and Suzy (Hunarian) Ohanian.

Educated in the Haverhill school system, Mr. Ohanian graduated from Haverhill High School, class of 1961.

From 1961 to 1971 he was employed at the former Western Electric, No. Andover. A true movie buff, Mr. Ohanian began working in various local cinemas in 1971 and retired in 2003 as the Manager of Apple Tree Theater, Londonderry, NH. For many years he attended St. Gregory The Illuminator Armenian Apostolic Church/The Armenian Apostolic Church at Hye Pointe, Haverhill.

His survivors include two sisters, Mary Hanedanian of Haverhill, Shirley Aaronian and her husband Martin of Atkinson, NH, two nieces and two nephews. Mr. Ohanian was also the brother of the late Arthur Ohanian.

ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his Funeral on Wednesday morning, March 13, at 10:00 from the H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Home, 106 Summer St., Haverhill, followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 in St. Gregory Armenian Apostolic Church, 110 Main St., Haverhill. Burial will be in Linwood Cemetery, Haverhill.
