Lawrence, MA — Anthony J. Castro died unexpectedly at his home on Saturday March 9, 2013.
He was born in Lawrence on October 9, 1955 and resided there all his life. He was a graduate of Holy Rosary Grammar School, Central Catholic High School and Suffolk University. Always thirsty for knowledge, he continued to attend various classes and earned certificates.
Anthony worked for National Parks and Services and the Internal Revenue Service for twenty-nine years.
He held memberships in many cultural programs on the North Shore as well as the Salem and Concord Mass areas. His interest included early American History as well as artifacts of that era.
He leaves his parents,Joseph and Anita (Bonaccorsi) Castro, who lived with him. His survivors include his brother, Paul J. and wife Rosemarie Castro of Haverhill. He also leaves an aunt Sandra Bonaccorsi of Lawrence and several cousins and many friends.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are kindly invited to visitation on Wednesday, March 13, 2013 from 4pm-8pm in the Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley St., Methuen, MA. A funeral mass will be celebrated for Anthony on Thursday at 10am at Corpus Christi Parish in Holy Rosary Church, 35 Essex St. Lawrence. Entombment at St. Mary Immaculate Conception Cemetery.
