Lexington, MA — Anne Foley, 85, of Lexington, formerly of Hasbrouck Heights, NJ died on Tuesday, January 22 at Billerica Crossings in Billerica.
Born in Moonachie, NJ on October 6, 1927 she was the daughter of the late Michael and Marie (Rainone) DeCotiis.
Anne was a graduate of East Rutherford High School in East Rutherford, NJ and Felician College - Lodi Campus, NJ. She was a longtime resident of Hasbrouck Heights, NJ and most recently lived in Lexington. Anne had worked as a travel agent and was an administrative assistant with the Record in Hackensack, NJ. She was a member of the Women’s Club in Hasbrouck Heights, NJ. She enjoyed the movies and trips to New York to see Broadway Shows. She will be remembered for her deep love of family, her faith in God and her zest for life.
Anne was the wife of Eugene J. Foley. She was the mother of Thomas E. Foley and his wife Marguerite of Groveland, Marianne F. Weischelbaum and her husband Paul and Eugene J. Foley, Jr. and his wife Rhonda, all of Lexington and Karen Foley of Stoneham. She was the sister of the late Joseph, Alphonse and Anthony De Cotiis, Theresa Piccolo and Lucille Fallaci. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
ARRANGEMENTS: Her funeral will be held from the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home, 322 Main St., Stoneham on Friday at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St., Stoneham at 10 a.m. Visitation for relative and friends will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 4-8 p.m. Interment will be at St. Patrick Cemetery in Stoneham.
