Sebastian "Pee Wee" Conte, 93


HAVERHILL, MA — Sebastian "Pee Wee" Conte, 93, died Sunday February 17, 2013 at the Hannah Duston Healthcare Center. He was born in Haverhill January 20, 1920, son of Frederico and Gemma (Grassi) Conte. He was educated in Haverhill Schools, and served in the U.S. Army during World War II, where he earned the Bronze Star. He was a member of All Saints Parish and the Garibaldi Club. He was retired from the Haverhill Post Office.He was the husband of the late Rose (Santarelli) Conte. He is survived by a brother and his wife Frank and Lena Conte of Haverhill. 3 sisters Angelina Conte, Anges Bevilacqua, and Vera Wenige all of Haverhill. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers Marino Conte, Alfred Conte, Amerigo "Speed" Conte, Orlando "Lindy" Conti and Rudolph Conte. The family would to thank the staff at Hannah Duston for the excellent care "Pee Wee" received while he was a patient there.

ARRANGEMENTS: Visiting hours will be held Wednesday February 20, 2013 from 3-7 pm at the Paul C. Rogers Family-Scatamacchia Funeral Home, 334 Main St. Funeral services will follow immediately after visiting hours at 7 pm. Burial will be private. www.scatamacchiafuneralhome.com.
