Haverhill — Myles M. Marcus, 85, of Haverhill died at Merrimack Valley Hospice in Haverhill on Saturday evening, April 20, after a brief illness.
Mr. Marcus was a Winthrop native and served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and the Korean Conflict. He graduated from Northwestern University and then earned a Master's degree in business administration from Northeastern University.
A resident of Haverhill for 16 years, he formerly lived in Framingham. Mr. Marcus worked as an electrical engineer for Raytheon for many years. He was a Past Commander of Haverhill Post of D.A.V. and was a Mason, Shriner, and member of Temple Emanuel of Andover.
He was the devoted husband of late Barbara (Taylor); beloved father of Linda and her husband, Andy Jorde, and Yehoshua and his wife, Rachel Othneil; proud grandfather of Ephraim, Benjamin, Arielle; and three great grandchildren; cherished companion of Sylvia Neistadt; and dear brother of Gene Marcus and the late Ralph Marcus.
ARRANGEMENTS: Services will be at Temple Emanuel, 7 Haggetts Pond Road (off Route 133), Andover, on Tuesday, April 23, at 10:30 a.m. Interment in Sharon.
