Salem, NH — John M. Rose, 85, of Salem, N.H., died Thursday, April 18, at Salemhaven. John was born in Somerville, the son of the late Mary (Silva) and John F. Rose.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. John was a hard worker and a dedicated member of Mary Queen of Peace Church. He retired from Purity Supreme Supermarket.
He was predeceased by his wife, Margaret (Chatalian) Rose, and his step-son, Alfred Karamanoogian. He is survived by his stepchildren, Kenneth Karamanoogian of Bedford, N.H., Christine Dancereau of Florida, and Janet Reddick of New York.
ARRANGEMENTS: There are no calling hours. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, April 25, at Mary Queen of Peace Church, 200 Lawrence Rd., Salem, NH. Burial is in Calvary Cemetery, Winchester, Mass. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in John’s name to Salemhaven Resident Council Fund, 23 Geremonty Drive, Salem, NH 03079.
