Frank J. Muraco, 92


Port Orange, FL — Frank J. Muraco, 92, of Lawrence, passed away Friday, April 12, 2013, in Port Orange, Fla., where he loved to spend his winters. He was born in Lawrence and was the son of the late Ceasar and Maria (Pecorella) Muraco.

Mr. Muraco was raised and educated in Lawrence. He worked for area clothing manufacturers and was also a self-employed mason. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Lawrence, and was a United States Army W.W.II veteran.

When in Florida, he loved fishing and watching wildlife and nature on his deck.

Mr. Muraco is survived by his beloved wife, Rose M. (Messina) Struffolino-Muraco, and his step son, David S. Struffolino, of Lawrence. He is also survived by a sister in law, and many nieces and nephews.

ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Friday, April 26, 2013, from 7 to 9 p.m., at the Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley St., Methuen. His funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 27, 2013, at Corpus Christi Parish in Holy Rosary Church, 35 Essex St., Lawrence.
