Knoxville, Tenn. — Arthur R. MacLennan passed away March 3, 2013 at Park West Medical Center, Knoxville, Tenn. He was predeceased by his wife, Donna (Turgeon) MacLennan in 2012.
Arthur was born in Medford, the son of the late, John R. and Jennie A. (Clarke) MacLennan and resided in Groveland, for many years. He attended Groveland schools then enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and was honorably discharged in 1960. He then worked for General Electric Aircraft Division, Lynn, until his retirement.
He and his wife, Donna moved from their home in Merrimac, to Knoxville, Tenn. a few years ago but kept in touch with friends and family in the greater Haverhill area.
He leaves the loves of his life, his two daughters and their respective husbands, Joanne Termini and husband, Joseph of Amesbury, and Catherine Conway and husband, Jeff of Bethpage, Tenn.; along with his loving sister, Audrey (MacLennan) Peabody and husband, Benjamin of Georgetown; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and friends.
ARRANGEMENTS: Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
