Haverhill, MA — Susan Anne Gorman, 63, of Haverhill, Mass., a native and former Nashua, N.H., resident died at her home on Saturday, September 7, 2013, after a long illness.
A daughter of the late Otis C. and Sophie M. (Naszlenis) Gorman, she was born in Nashua on January 24, 1950. Educated in local schools, Susan was a graduate of Nashua High School, Class of 1968.
Susan began her career in the restaurant business as manager of the Cedar Crest Restaurant in Lawrence, Mass., for 25 years. She later worked at Bishops and the Phoenecian restaurants until she retired in 2005.
In addition to her parents, Susan was predeceased by her sister, Carolyn J. Leonard of Nashua, who died in November 1994.
Members of her family include a brother-in-law, William J. Leonard of Nashua; two nieces, Catherine J. Bouley and her husband, Derek, of Wilton, N.H., and Kellie A. Leonard of Nashua; three grandnieces, Aleah, Jessie and Taylor Bouley; an aunt, Helen Przydzial of Salem, Mass.; her beloved friend of 40 years, Elaine O’Neil of Haverhill; and several cousins.
