Newburyport, MA — Anna C. (Drabik) Robinson, 88, of Newburyport, died unexpectedly at her home in Newburyport on Monday afternoon, September 23, 2013. She was the beloved wife of 35 years of the late Raymond S. Robinson, who died on May 28, 1987.
Born in Newburyport on June 25, 1925, she was the daughter of the late William and Antonina (Zajchowska) Drabik. She was a graduate of Amesbury High School.
A loving wife and devoted mother and grandmother, Anna was very proud of her family, was always there for their needs, and was especially fond of her grandchildren. She loved reading and traveling, and was a member of the Elizabeth H. Whittier Club of Amesbury and the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary.
Her family members include her two sons, Michael S. Robinson and wife, Denise Kilmartin of Salem, N.H., and Gary S. Robinson and wife, Christine, of Newburyport; her three grandchildren, Imogene, Garth and Rose; along with several generations of nieces and nephews; and many dear friends.
She will be truly missed by them all.
ARRANGEMENTS: Visiting hours at Elliott, Woodworth & Rogers Family Funeral Home, 35 Green Street, Newburyport, will be on Thursday, September 26, from 4 to 6 p.m. Her funeral services will be at the funeral home on Friday, at 11 a.m., followed by burial in Oak Hill Cemetery, Newburyport.
