Chelmsford, MA — Sarah M. “Sally” (Nicolosi) Costello, 78, a resident of Chelmsford and former Lawrence resident, died Tuesday, September 24, 2013, at her home in Chelmsford. She was the beloved wife of the late Francis X. “Bucky” Costello to whom he was married for 48 years prior to his death in 2011 and was previously the wife of the late Raymond P. Costello. She was born in Lawrence on August 10, 1935, and was a daughter of the late Anthony S. and Carmela (Grasso) Nicolosi. Prior to her retirement, Sally worked as a supervisor for the IRS in Methuen. Following retirement she was employed as a cashier at CVS for 10 years both in Methuen and Chelmsford. Sally enjoyed reading and loved taking trips to Foxwoods and the beach. Above all she adored her grandchildren and treasured her time spent in the company of her loving family. Sally is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Karen and Lee Denis of Tewksbury, and Barbara and Mark Belanger of Chelmsford with whom she resided; three grandchildren, Nicole Belanger and Ryan Belanger, both of Chelmsford, and Bradley Denis of Tewksbury; her siblings, Constance Cunningham and her husband, Howard, of Sandwich, N.H., Lucille Daly and her husband, William, of New Mexico, and Joseph Nicolosi and his wife, Brenda, of Dracut; and several nieces and nephews and cousins.
ARRANGEMENTS: Memorial visitation will take place on Friday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Blake Funeral Home, 24 Worthen St., Chelmsford followed by her Memorial Service at 11 o’clock.
