North Andover, MA — Olga “Jackie” (Kacenevicz) Rego, 93, of North Andover, formerly of Lawrence and Methuen, passed away on Saturday, September 28, at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House in Haverhill. She was born in Lawrence, and was the daughter of the late John and Tekla (Lisay) Kacenevicz.
Mrs. Rego was raised and educated in Methuen, and was a lifelong resident of Methuen and Lawrence, and was a current resident of Ashland Farms in North Andover. She worked in quality control at the Marum Knitting Mill in Lawrence for many years.
Mrs. Rego was the beloved wife of the late Manual L. Rego, with whom she shared 11 years of marriage. She is survived by her son, John D. Marselis of Laurel Srings, N.J.; her nieces, Dorothy Conley and her husband, Edward, of Tustin,Calif., and Patricia Commerford of Hampton, N.H.; and her dear friends, Chuck and Jane Bogle and their children, Mathew and Erin, of Derry, N.H. She was also predeceased by her nephew, Thomas Kibildis of Lawrence.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visiting hours on Tuesday, October 1, from 4 to 7 p.m., at the Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley, Methuen. Her funeral services will take place on Wednesday, October 2, at 11 a.m., in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Methuen.
