Natalie A. (Migliori) Traverso

Haverhill, MA — Natalie A. (Migliori) Traverso, 89, lifelong Haverhill resident, died peacefully on Monday morning, September 30, 2013, at Penacook Place in Haverhill, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Haverhill on March 1, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Mary (Porro) Migliori. She was a graduate of Haverhill High School.

Natalie was also an excellent cook, always ready to feed anyone that came to her house. She was happiest when planning family gatherings and special holiday festivities complete with all the favorite family recipes from the “Old Country.” She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, who filled her life with much joy and laughter.

Natalie is survived by her son, Vincent P. Traverso of Seabrook, N.H.; her daughter, Angela M. Garrison of Haverhill; her loving brother, Boris W. Migliori of Haverhill; her three grandchildren, Amy Kimball, and Lauren and Callie Garrison; along with her brother-in-law, Steve Traverso; and several nieces, nephews and dear friends.

The family would like to extend their sincerest thanks to the entire staff at Penacook Place for the loving care, kindness and compassion they extended to Natalie over the past seven years. It brought them great comfort knowing she was treated so well.
