Haverhill — Alan Joseph Carlovitch, 62, of Haverhill, died Tuesday, October 15, 2013, at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington after being stricken ill suddenly.
Born in Haverhill, he was the son of Jack and Anna (Saulnier) Carlovitch. He attended Haverhill public schools and was a graduate of Haverhill Trade School, class of 1969. Being trained in the Automotive Repair Shop in Trade School, cars were his passion for the rest of his life. His long career in car sales included working at many dealerships throughout the Merrimack Valley, Walls Lincoln Mercury and Plaistow Subaru as well as others. Alan was also passionate about music and promoted many bands and musicians involved in the local entertainment industry.
He leaves a brother, John L. Carlovitch and his wife, Carol, of Garden Grove, CA; two aunts, Dora Brunault of Amesbury and Arlene Saulnier of Boston; a nephew, John R. Carlovitch of Gulf Port, FL and a niece, Lynn Rheault of Long Beach, CA; a great-niece, Kelly Rheault, great-nephew, Jesse Rheault; and several cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his grandnephew, Tyler R. Rheault.
ARRANGEMENTS: Friends and family are respectfully invited to attend a graveside service for Alan on Monday afternoon at 1 p.m. at St. Joseph Cemetery, Hilldale Ave., Haverhill.
