Alison "Lisa" J. Evans, 58

Methuen — Alison “Lisa” J. (Darling) Evans, 58, of Methuen, passed away peacefully Wednesday, November 6, 2013, at home surrounded by her loving family. Lisa was born in Melrose and was the daughter of the late Barbara (May) Darling. She was raised and educated in Wakefield and Reading and graduated from Reading Memorial High School.

Lisa worked for many years as an Administrative Assistant for several different employers. She was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time with family and her closest friends. She will always be remembered as an amazing Mom and sister, as Jessica and Melanie were truly her best friends.

Lisa is survived by her husband of six years, Jeffrey S. Evans; her daughter and son-in-law, Jessica A. and Charles Harris, all of Methuen; her sister, Melanie Gorey and her husband, Vincent, of Wakefield. She is also survived by her nieces, Amanda Gorey and Michelle Anamateros of Wakefield, Elizabeth Norell of Reading and her nephew, George Mansfield of Reading. Lisa was predeceased by her brother, Carl W. Darling.

ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visiting hours on Sunday, November 10, from 2 to 6 p.m. at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley St., Methuen.
