Salem, NH — Nunzio Sambataro, 86, of Salem, N.H., died on Thursday, November 7, at Merrimack Valley Hospice House in Haverhill, Mass. Nunzio was born and educated in Lawrence, Mass., and was the son of the late Concetta (Amato) Sambataro and Alfio Sambataro. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Nunzio was a retired letter carrier for the city of Lawrence. He enjoyed playing pool, talking, dancing, and spending time with his beloved family. He was predeceased by his son Mark E. Sambataro.
He is survived by his wife, Marion (Palese) Sambataro of Salem; his sons, Paul of Salem, and David and his wife, Valerie, of Salem; his daughter, Connie and her husband, Lee Stevens of Salem; his grandchildren, Ryan, Hannah, Aaron and Cayley, Ashlee, Zachary, Derek, Brandon, Shawn, Kevin, and Crystal; and his great-grandchildren, Hayden and Anthony.
