Jeanette Cruz-Caraballo, 30

Lawrence — Jeanette Cruz-Caraballo, 30, of Lawrence, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 8, 2013, at Merrimack Valley Hospice House in Haverhill, surrounded by her loving family. Jeanette was born in Lawrence. She was the daughter of Moises Cruz-Bonilla and Luz M. Caraballo-Cabrera, both of Lawrence. Jeanette was raised and educated in Lawrence. Jeanette attended Northern Essex Community College and studied criminal justice, and at Zion Bible College, studied worship ministries. She was employed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a call center specialist.

Jeanette was a member of Liberty Church of Shrewsbury Mass., and was baptized in 2008. She enjoyed being involved in church ministries such as Complete Women Ministry, Daughters with Destiny, United Night of Worship of Boston, and other church and community events.

Jeanette cherished spending time with her children and making sure she instilled God first in their lives, along with being with her family and friends. She touched so many lives with her fighting spirit in battling cancer for four years as a single mother.

Besides her parents she is survived by her children, Isaiah Guevara-Cruz and Genesis Guevara-Cruz of Lawrence; her sister, Amy Marte and brother-in-law, Wadner Marte of Lawrence; and her brother, Jimmy Cruz-Caraballo of Florida. She also leaves many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visiting hours on Thursday, November 14, from 5 to 9 p.m., at the Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley Street, Methuen. A church service will be held on Friday, November 15, at 11 a.m., at the Riverside Assembly of God Church in Methuen. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Tewksbury.
