Lawrence — Lucie E. Nasser, 83, of Lawrence died on Monday, March 25, 2013 at Mary Immaculate Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Lawrence.
Mrs. Nasser was born, raised and educated in Lawrence and has lived in Lawrence all of her life. For over 30 years, she worked as a crossing guard for the Lawrence School Department. She retired in 1999 and was honored by the Lawrence Police Department in 2000 for her many years of service. Lucie was an active member of St Patrick’s Parish, Lawrence, as well as, being a 50 year member of St. Patrick’s Our Lady Sodality. She was also a member of The Ancient Order of Hibernians, Lawrence and was an avid bowler.
Her family members include her husband, Edmund G. Nasser of Lawrence; her daughters, Helen M. Nasser of Lawrence and Mary Ann and her husband, Donald Proctor of Lawrence. She leaves her god daughters, Sandra Martin and Nancy Caillouet, as well as, several nieces and nephews. Lucie was the daughter of the late, Wilbur and Mary (Green) Haigh and the sister of the late , Maurita Levesque.

ARRANGEMENTS: Calling hours will be on Tuesday April 2, 2013 from 4 to 7 p.m. at The Charles F. Dewhirst Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Methuen. A funeral Mass will be on Wednesday, April 3 at 11 a.m. in St. Patrick’s Church, Lawrence. Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, North Andover. The Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians will conduct a prayer service at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
