Salem, NH — Susan A. (Decker) Tucker, 69, of Salem, N.H., died Friday at her home surrounded by her family.
She was born in Dorchester, Mass., and grew up and was educated in Arlington, Mass. She was a resident of Salem for 44 years. Susan was an activities director for the Wingate Nursing Home in Andover, Mass. She previously worked for the State of New Hampshire Division of Family Services in Salem, N.H., and worked at K-Mart in Salem for over 20 years. Susan was also a hairdresser. Susan was active in the Salem, N.H., Little League where she was a team coach and player agent on the Board of Directors. Susan also volunteered for the Dana Farber Pan Mass Challenge. She enjoyed gardening, traveling and her grandkids.
She is survived by her daughters, Sharon McCarron of Maine, Tracy and her husband, Tom Donahue, of Salem, N.H., and Nancy Tucker of Salem, N.H.; her son, Bert Tucker of Georgia; a nephew, Scott Decker and his wife, Rachel, and their son, Nolan, of Florida; grandchildren, Zachary and Sean McCarron; great-granddaughter, Carla McCarron; and adopted grandchildren, Katelynn, Raelynn, Kristen, and Raymond Giuffre.
ARRANGEMENTS: Memorial visitation will be Tuesday, April 9, from 5 to 7 p.m., followed by a memorial service at 7 p.m. at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St, Salem, NH.
