Plaistow — Gladys M. (Beaupre) Carbonneau, 89, of Plaistow, N.H., passed away Saturday, April 6, 2013, at Penacook Place in Haverhill.
She was born in Pelham, N.H., daughter of the late Arthur J. and Edith S. (Martin) Beaupre.
Gladys moved to Haverhill at an early age, attending the Haverhill public schools. She was employed in the local shoe industry, and later worked at Simons and the former Giant store.
She enjoyed crafts, ceramics and stitchery and had made many sweaters and afghans over the years.
Gladys was the wife of the late Alfred M. Carbonneau, who died in 1989 and is survived by her son, Gary A. Carbonneau and his wife, Elaine D., of Plaistow; daughter, Bonnie Lee and her husband, George A. Peabody, of Plaistow; two grandchildren, Glen Peabody and his wife, Heidi, and Kimberly Carbonneau and her fiancé, Andrew Toth; two great-grandchildren, Zachary and Nathan Peabody; former daughter-in-law, Janice C. Carbonneau of Atkinson, N.H.; as well as several nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her Funeral Service on Tuesday, April 9, at 11 a.m. at the H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Home, 106 Summer St., Haverhill. Interment will follow in the Plaistow Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Monday (today) from 4 to 7 p.m. at the H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Home, 106 Summer St. Haverhill.
