Lowell, MA — Margaret (Lucolano) Nigrelli, 95, of Lowell, formerly of Revere and North Andover, passed away Wednesday, April 10, 2013, at Wingate at Belvidere Rehabilitation and Nursing Center of Lowell. Margaret was born in Lawrence and was the daughter of the late Paolo and Luigina (Amorelli) Lucolano, and the widower of Joseph Nigrelli, who passed away in September, 1997. Margaret was educated in Lawrence Schools and was a graduate of Lawrence High School.
Margaret was a dedicated mother and grandmother and her loving smile will be missed by all who knew her. She loved to cook for her family and no one ever left her house hungry. Family gatherings will never be the same without her. Margaret worked for many years as a hairdresser and took great pride in sharing her skills with many of her family and friends.
Margaret is survived by her loving children, John and his wife Lynn Nigrelli, of Salem, N.H., Paul and his wife Mary Nigrelli, of Salem, N.H., Marie and her husband Paul Lerardi, of Lowell, MA, and Louise and her husband Robert Dube, of Salem, N.H. She leaves 10 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren, her loving sister Florence Haddad, of Methuen, and several nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to calling hours on Friday, April 12, 2013 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley St., Methuen. A mass of Christian burial will take place on Saturday, April 13, 2013 at 10 a.m., in St. Michael’s Church, 191 Main St., North Andover, MA. Interment will follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery Lawrence.
