Milton, MA — Jean Carol Loiacono was born in Lawrence, MA, the daughter of the late Theodore and Gertrude (Noonan) Mandros. She lived for a time in Andover before moving to Melbourne Beach, FL. In recent years she was a resident of Unquity House in Milton. Jean was married to the late Anthony Loiacono and the loving sister of Maralin Manning of Quincy. Aunt of Patrice Flavin, Moira Shigo and Robert, Gregg, Theodore and Michael Manning and several great-nieces and nephews in Milton and Hingham, MA, Shelton, CT and Burlington, VT. After graduation from St. Mary’s High School, Lawrence in 1954, Jean attended Emerson College and graduated from Boston University in 1958. After a short career in the theatre, she taught at Andover High School and the House of Pines in Norton. She also was employed for a time at Lawrence General Hospital.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Agatha Church, Milton, Monday morning at 9. Visiting hour 8 to 9am at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home, 326 Granite Ave., Milton prior to the Mass.
