Jane Lafey-Henry, 71

Haverhill — Jane Lafey Henry, 71, of Haverhill, passed away on Tuesday, October 22, at Mass General Hospital, Boston.

She was born in Haverhill, July 9, 1942, daughter of the late W. Sidney and M. Alice (McKeigue) Lafey, Sr.

Jane attended Sacred Hearts School and graduated from St. James High School. She earned her degree from the Chandler School for Women, Boston. For many years she was employed for Dr. Gerald Lavner, Haverhill, and, more recently, in the Emergency Room and Admitting Department at the Hale Hospital for over 24 years. Jane was a member of St. John the Baptist Church, Haverhill.

Her survivors include her brother, Bill Lafey of Bradford; three nieces, Seanna McKeigue Lafey, Mariah Pauline Lafey and Kara West; her great-niece Bella; and former husband, Donald Henry of St. Thomas, USVI.

ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her Memorial Service on Monday, Oct. 28th at 11 a.m. at the H.L. Farmer & Sons Bradford Funeral Home, 210 So. Main St., Bradford. Interment will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery, Bradford. Arrangements are by the H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, Haverhill and Bradford.
