Haverhill, MA — Richard J. Dusombre, 64, of Haverhill, died on Sunday, October 27, 2013, at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington.
Born, raised, and educated in Haverhill, son of the late Omer and Marguerite (Belanger) Dusombre, he attended the Haverhill Trade School. He was most recently employed as an oil burner technician for Ronnie’s Oil. He was previously employed by Coastal Industries as a foreman and local service stations as an auto mechanic.
A member of Assembly of God Church in Haverhill, Mr. Dusombre enjoyed bowling, fishing, woodworking, playing baseball, cribbage, and 45’s, and pitching horseshoes.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Donna (Daignault) Dusombre; his daughters, Christine A. Dusombre of Haverhill and Katie L. Dusombre of Methuen; four brothers, Lee O. Dusombre of Londonderry, N.H., Frederick Dusombre of Plaistow, N.H., Gilbert Dusombre of Haverhill, and Robert Dusombre of Seabrook, N.H.; five sisters, Marilyn Daneau, Helen St. Cyr, Janet Langlois, all of Haverhill, Sally Hardy of Seabrook, N.H., and Peggy Caruthers of Port Angeles, Wash.; a grandson, Aiden Collins; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his brother, John Dusombre, and his sisters, Catherine Descoteaux and Marjorie Page.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends may call on Saturday, November 2, 2013, from 12 noon to 3 p.m. at Berube-Comeau Funeral Home, 47 Broadway, Haverhill. His funeral service will take place on Saturday at 3:15 p.m. at the funeral home.
