Danville, NH — Shirley Joanne Kimball, 77, died surrounded by her friends and family, on October 31, 2013, at the Parkland Medical Center in Derry, NH. She was born in Exeter, NH on July 14, 1936, daughter of Marjorie (Sargent) and Carroll M. Kimball.
Ms. Kimball was a lifelong resident of Danville, NH and was employed for many years as a L.N.A. at the Rockingham County Nursing Home in Brentwood and also The Danville Gazette. She was a member and Past President of the Hawke Historical Society, as well as a member of the Kimball Family Association, Friends of the Colby Memorial Library, The Old Meeting House Organization, The Lamprey River Watershed Association and volunteered with the Danville Town Forestry Committee. She loved the outdoors, in particular, camping, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing and traveling. She also enjoyed crocheting and was an avid fan of the Boston Celtics.
She is survived by many cousins and close friends.
ARRANGEMENTS: A celebration of her life will be on Saturday, November 16, 2013, at 1 p.m. at the Danville Baptist Church, 226 Main St., (Route 111A), Danville, NH.
