Plaistow, N.H. — Alice M. (Moore) Froias, 76, died Wednesday evening, October 10, at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Marlboro, daughter of the late Leroy and Alice (Smith) Moore, she was raised in Plaistow and attended the Pollard School and the former Sanborn Seminary. A former resident of Haverhill, Mrs. Froias has been a resident of Plaistow since 1993.
Employed as a sales clerk at Hudson’s Department Store and at Cherry & Webb in Plaistow, Mrs. Froias was a longtime member of Saint Luke the Evangelist Parish and the former Holy Angels Parish. A devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she also enjoyed needlepoint, puzzles, traveling and shopping.
She is survived by her loving and supportive husband of 58 years, Richard Froias; sons and daughters-in-law, Steven M. Froias of Kentucky, Michael A. and Sherri Froias of Virginia, and Keith R. and Kathy Froias of South Carolina; daughters and sons-in-law, Lynne M. and Raymond Keith of Belleville, Ill, Deborah T. and Carlton Goodwin of Kingston, N.H., and Cheryl A. and John Rogan of Salem, N.H.; two brothers, Edward Moore of Haverhill, John Moore of East Wakefield, N.H.; two sisters, Virginia Sacks of Hampstead, and Janet Sharrio of Derry; 15 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Margaret Moore.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends may call on Monday, October 15, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Route 121A, Plaistow. Her funeral will be held on Tuesday at 9 a.m. from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Holy Angels Church of Saint Luke the Evangelist Parish, Plaistow.
