Byron B. Hairian, 92

Haverhill — Byron B. Hairian, 92, a lifelong resident of Haverhill passed away Friday, October 19, 2012 at his residence.

He was born in Haverhill on April 11, 1920, son of the late Simon and Zarhooi (Movsesian) Hairian.

Byron was a graduate of Haverhill High School, class of 1938 and later attended Brown and Harvard Universities. Byron proudly served his country in the Army during World War II.

He was employed at General Electric in Everett for many years until his retirement. Byron was devoted to his family and enjoyed making watches as a hobby.

He is survived by his sister Pauline Harian of Haverhill as well as many loving cousins. He was also the brother of the late Ronald Z. Hairian.

ARRANGEMENTS: At the family’s request, private Funeral Services were held on Tuesday, October 23r at the H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Home, 106 Summer St. Haverhill. Interment with military honors followed in the Linwood Cemetery, Haverhill. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the Armenian Apostolic Church at Hye Pointe, P.O. Box 8069, Ward Hill, MA 01835 or to Merrimack Valley Hospice, 360 Merrimack St. Bldg. 9 Lawrence, MA 01843. Arrangements are by H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Homes, Haverhill and Bradford.
