Nashua N.H. — Robert F. MacNally III, 55, of Nashua died unexpectedly on Thursday October 18, 2012 in Nashua.
Robert was born in Cambridge on April 30, 1957. He graduated from Nashua High School and received a B.S. in economics from The University of New Hampshire in 1979.
In high school and college Robert was a champion wrestler, who won many state and regional competitions in his weight class. He participated in the NCAA wrestling tournaments in 1978 and 1979 and was invited to participate in training for the US Olympic Wrestling team in 1978.
Robert lead his life with an entrepreneurial spirit and started several businesses in various fields. Most recently he founded and was principal owner of Tri Link Technologies. Outside of work he enjoyed diverse leisure interests including photography, gardening, dance, fitness and world-travel.
He was predeceased by his father Robert F. MacNally II. He is survived by his mother, Elizabeth W. MacNally of Burr Ridge, Ill., Susan MacNally of Lawrence, Kan., Anne Goto and her husband Paul of Hamden, Conn. and William MacNally and his wife Christine of North Andover. Also among his survivors are his niece and nephews Greg and Max Goto and Alex and Haley MacNally.
ARRANGEMENTS: A memorial service will be held on November 10, 2 p.m. at St. Paul’s Church in North Andover 396 Main Street, North Andover.
