Salisbury — It’s with a Heavy Heart that the Family of Cheryle Ann Viti announces her unexpected passing while on vacation in Florida on Saturday, February 23, 2013.
Cheryle was born in Lawrence, grew up on Tower Hill and graduated from Lawrence High in 1972. She was married for almost 41 years to her loving husband Al. They raised their three children Jamie, Jonathan and Heather in Haverhill and later moved to Salisbury Beach. They shared a fulfilling life together, enjoying many vacations with family and friends. She had a shared passion for their log home in Twin Mountain, NH and the Beach. She was a wonderful, loving, caring woman who radiated a deep commitment and dedication to her family and friends. Her life was her family, and she was happiest when she was doing for them, and spending time with all of them. She shared her virtues of love, compassion and kindness to everyone whose life she touched.
Cheryle worked in the radiology department at Holy Family Hospital. She worked in the medical field for Dr. William Shalen, Dr Edward Yourtee, Andover Walk-in, and Northeast Urologic, then took the opportunity to work for Early & Sons Construction and RAM Engineering and most recently with the Department of Treasury.
Cheryle was a loving wife, mother, “nana” and sister; she will be greatly missed by her family. One of the things that brought her joy was spending time with her grandchildren, who lit up her life with their smiles and laughter. She was known for her fabulous cooking and shared her hand made Christmas cookies and fudge at the holidays. She wouldn’t hesitate to share her talent of putting a gift basket or two together for a local fundraiser or for anyone in need.
Cheryle was predeceased by her Son Albert Francis III, Mother & father Sylvia & James Colmer, Father in law Albert F. Viti Sr., and Nephew Joseph Altobelli. She was the daughter in law of Mary J.
