Salem, NH — Howard Neil Moresh, 68, of Salem, New Hampshire, died Saturday, March 2, 2013, at the Holy Family Hospital in Methuen after a lengthy illness.
Born in the Bronx, New York, he was the son of the late, Rueben and Helen (Pear) Moresh. He was a graduate of Theodore Roosevelt High School, class of 1962, and later received his degree from Memphis State University. He has resided in Salem, NH, for over forty-five years.
He began his career as an agent for the Boston Mutual Life Insurance Co. in Boston, and later worked in administration for the Internal Revenue Service in Andover.
An avid sports fan, and never forgetting his roots, he cheered for his New York Yankees and New York Jets. He also enjoyed music and listened to his extensive collection of rock and roll.
He leaves two children, a son, Scott Moresh, Captain, U.S. Army, Ret., of Savannah, Georgia, a daughter, Jennifer C. McGonagle and her husband, Matthew, of Haverhill, three cherished grandchildren, Maggie, Shane, and Kallie McGonagle, a sister, Rochelle Levine, of Roslindale, NY, sister in law and lifelong friend, Marcy and Alfred Richards, of Lawrence, and former wife, Pauline (Guy) Brown, of Haverhill, and nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: Friends and family are respectfully invited to attend his funeral service on Thursday evening at 6:30 PM in the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 main St. (Rte 125) Haverhill.
