Bradford — Christine C. (Willett) Bradley, formerly of Bradford died Sunday morning, March 3, at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House, Haverhill.
She was born in Haverhill, March 5, 1914, daughter of the late, Lionel and Matte (Jeures) Willett. Educated in the Haverhill school system, Mrs. Bradley graduated from Haverhill High School. She was employed at Hamel Leather, Haverhill, the Little Red School House, North Andover, and for over 20 years as an inspector at the former Lucent Technologies.
Mrs. Bradley was a longtime member of Sacred Hearts Church, Bradford. A former writer for the Eagle-Tribune, Mrs. Bradley was a great cook and enjoyed knitting, sewing, long walks on the beach and for a period of time was a Girl Scout Leader.
She was the wife of the late Leonard W. Bradley who died in 1988 and her survivors include a daughter, Virginia A. Simmons of Hampstead, N.H.; a sister, June Brang of Coco Beach, Fla.; a brother, James Willett and his wife, Pedee of Las Vegas; three grandchildren, Barry S. Simmons, Cynthia Marcotte and her fiancé, Robert Stabile, Kevin M. Simmons and his wife, Amy; five great-grandchildren, Jennifer Murphy, Thomas Marcotte, Andrew Marcotte, Mackenzie Simmons and Carmindy Simmons.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her funeral service on Wednesday, March 6 at 11:15 a.m. at the H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Home, 210 South Main St., Bradford. Interment will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery, Bradford. An hour of visitation will preceded the service on Wednesday from 10-11 a.m. at the funeral home.
