Roy Richard 'Dick' Little, 75

North Andover — Roy Richard “Dick” Little, 75, of North Andover, passed away peacefully on August 30, 2013, at the Methuen Health and Rehabilitation Center, surrounded by his family. He was born on April 7, 1938, in Hanover, N.H., to Thelma (Laber) Little and the late Roy D. Little.

Roy lived in White River Junction, Vt., in his early years, before moving to Lawrence, where he graduated from Lawrence High School. He later moved to North Andover, where he would spend the rest of his life. Roy served four years in the U.S. Air Force and was honorably discharged. Roy was a former employee of MKS, Hewlett Packard and Lawrence Maid Shoe.

He enjoyed swimming, bowling, working on cars, spending time at the Senior Center, and playing bingo with friends. Roy also enjoyed playing keno, and socializing with friends and family. He was also an avid Red Sox fan. He loved doing jigsaw puzzles, he was known to his friends as the “Puzzle Man.” Roy was a carefree, happy man, who always had a smile for you.

His survivors include his mother, Thelma Little; sons, Randy Little and wife, Jennifer (Blatti) of Newton, N.H., and Richard R. Little and wife, Mary, of Hopington, Mass.; daughters, Tracy Castiglione of Methuen, Jodi Lumb and husband, Robert, of North Andover; sister, Elaine (Turgeon) McQuesten and husband, Wayne, of Windham, N.H.; grandchildren, Tanya (Lumb) Lonardo and husband, and Nicholas, Tamara, Kyle, Jamie, Shaina, Brianna, Nicholas, Amanda, Christina and Andrew; and great-granddaughter, Ava. Roy is also survived by close friend, Betty Little; several nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.

ARRANGEMENTS: Family and friends are invited to calling hours on Tuesday, from 4 to 8 p.m., at the Conte Funeral Home, 17 Third Street, North Andover. A funeral service will be offered on Wednesday, at 10 a.m., in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
