Melbourne, FL — Jean (Melanson) Orlando, 73, of Melbourne, Fla., passed away Saturday, July 13, 2013. She was born in Lynn and was the daughter of the late Elmer and Gertrude (Orvin) Melanson.
Mrs. Orlando was raised and educated in Lynnfield. She worked as a florist and she and her husband owned and operated Wagland’s Flower Shop in Lawrence.
Mrs. Orlando is survived by her husband, Angelo Orlando of Florida; her sons, Edward Orlando and his wife, Rosalie, of New Hampshire, Matthew Orlando and his wife, Deborah, of Methuen, Richard Orlando and his companion, Ann DiMare, of Saugus and Robert Windt of California; and daughters, Darlene Ciarcia and her husband, Dan, of Methuen and Florida, Christle Windt of Florida and Shiela Windt of Florida. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: By the request of the family, there will be no visiting hours and funeral services will be private. Private interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Methuen.
