New Boston, NH — Jason M. Vasquez, 31, of New Boston, N.H., died unexpectedly on Friday, May 17, 2013. Jason was born in Lawrence, Mass., and a graduate of Methuen High School class of 1999. He was an avid Patriots, Red Sox, Celtics and Bruins fan. He was a talented athlete, having played in Methuen Little League and Methuen Recreational Basketball. Jason enjoyed playing pool and spending time with his friends and cousins. He found great joy in spending time with his family at cookouts and family gatherings. Jason was most proud of his role as an uncle and adored his nephew, Cameron, and nieces, Emma and Ella.
Jason is survived by his mother and step-father, Leslie and Ted Iwanowski, of New Boston, N.H.; his father, Jose Vasquez, of Lawrence, Mass.; his step-grandmother, Louise Iwanowski of Tewksbury, Mass.; his sister and brother-in-law, Erika and Brandon Viner; his sister, Amanda Vasquez; and step-sisters, Sara and Meagan Iwanowski, all of New Boston, N.H. Jason shared a special bond with his cousin, Nicole Brown of Bradford, Mass. He is also survived by a large extended family and close friends.
ARRANGEMENTS: Calling hours will be on Thursday May 23, 2013, from 5 to 8 p.m. at The Charles F. Dewhirst Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Methuen. Burial will be private.
