Hudson, NH — Thomas F. Hamilton, 75, of Hudson, N.H., passed away peacefully Wednesday, June 19, after complications from surgery.
Although born in Lawrence to the late Walter and Mabel (Albrecht) Hamilton, Thomas was educated in North Andover. After graduating high school Thomas continued his education at Lowell Tech, graduating with a degree in electrical engineering.
After graduation, Thomas worked for the Sanders Corporation for 35 years before his retirement. Thomas was an active member of the Nashua Elks and absolutely loved fishing - spending his last two years fishing in Alaska. In his down time Thomas also enjoyed golfing and supporting his favorite New England sports teams (primarily the Patriots and the Red Sox).
Thomas is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Barbara Hamilton of Hudson, N.H.; son, Jeff Hamilton and partner, Cindy, of North Carolina; daughter, Linda Hamilton and partner, Cindy, of Litchfield, N.H.; stepson, James Covey and wife, Annie, of Hudson, N.H.; stepdaughter, Cindy Mahoney and husband, James, of Hudson, N.H.; and sister, Carol Ullman of Ohio; several grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and his beloved pugs, Zoie and Lily.
Thomas is predeceased by both of his parents, as well as his brother, David Hamilton; and sisters, June, Joyce, Nancy, and Donna Hamilton.
ARRANGEMENTS: Friends and relatives are invited to call on Tuesday, June 25, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Charles F. Dewhirst Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Methuen. Thomas’ ashes are to be scattered by his loving family at sea at a later date.
