Plaistow, NH — William W. Nicoll, Jr. passed away Wed., March 5, at Merrimack Valley Hospital. He was born in Ludlow, Mass., the son of the late William W. Nicoll Sr. and Clara (Anderson) Nicoll. He graduated from Ludlow High School in 1950 and received his B.S. in electrical engineering from the University of Mass., Amherst in 1959. He was an Army veteran and served in the medical corp during the Korean War. He was employed by Teredyne in Boston until his retirement in 1992. William is survived by his daughter, Paula; his son, Craig and his wife, Rene, of Plaistow; his son, Brian and his wife, Kathryn, of Holyoke, Mass.; eight grandchildren, Daryl Martin and her husband, Matthew, Evan Richardson, Samantha Nicoll and her fiancé, Dan Billcliff, Steven, Brian, Sabrina, Kelly and Dan Nicoll and a brother, Neil Nicoll of Hadley, Mass. He also had 4 great-grandchildren, Trevor Billcliff, Brooklyn Martin, and Rory and Alex Nicoll. He was predeceased by his wife, Margaret and his daughter, Susan Richardson.
ARRANGEMENTS: There will be no calling hours. A private burial will take place in the spring.
