Lawrence, MA — David “Bibi” Rivera, passed away on March 4, 2014, in Texas. He is going to be missed by his son, David Joval Rivera; his mother, Vidalina Rivera; and his late father David Jimenez Rivera; his wife of 13 years, Rosemary Rivera; his sister, Frances Rivera and her husband, Jose Santiago; his step-children, Harry Santiago, Rosaida and Julio Veras, Trisha and Chris Merced; his nephews, Edgar David Rivera, Alexis Diaz Rivera, Jordan Leon Rivera; his uncles and aunts, Milly Torres Ruiz, Eva Fret, Juanita Molina, Irene Ruiz, Marcos “Tony” Ruiz, Genaro Ruiz, Felipe Ruiz and Julio Ruiz; and his cousins who live all around the world.
We lost a son, husband, father, uncle and cousin but he did what he loved to do which is to help those in need. He was the first Rivera organ donor of the Rivera Ruiz family. He saved the lives of four people and he gave them a chance to continue their lives. He was married to a wonderful woman, Rosemary Ortiz Rivera, for 13 years. They lived a wonderful, beautiful life together where they settled in Killeen, Texas. He was a proud Red Sox and New England Patriot fan and he let the world know.
Please omit flowers because David requested to be cremated.
Any donations made to the family would be appreciated.
