Isabelle M. Leavitt, 86

Methuen — Isabelle M. Leavitt, 86, passed away Saturday, September 29, 2012 at the Oxford Manor in Haverhill MA following a prolonged illness.

Isabelle was raised in Scotland and returned to the United States as a young girl. She lived and was educated in Andover, MA. In 1950 she married Albert K. Leavitt and lived in Andover. In 1961 they moved to Methuen where they raised four sons. She is survived by her husband Albert of Methuen, sons John K.and his wife, Margaret of Bradford, Scott D.and his wife, Shirley Leavitt of Roselle IL, Bruce A. and his wife, Lauri Leavitt of Raymond NH and grandchildren, Scott Jr., Jessica, Erin, Stephanie, Shawna, and Andrew. She was pre-deceased by her son, Robert M. Leavitt.

ARRANGEMENTS: Friends and family are invited to call on Thursday, October 4, 2012 between 9:00AM and 11:00 AM at the Charles F. Dewhirst Funeral Home, 80 Broadway Methuen, MA. A funeral service will be held at 11:00AM on Thursday at the funeral home followed by burial in the Elmwood Cemetery, Methuen.
