HAVERHILL — Anne M. Green, 97, passed peacefully on Monday, October 1, at Hannah Duston Health Care Center. Anne was born in Haverhill, May 1915, to the late Joseph and Rose(Balonis) Molansky. She was a graduate of Haverhill High School, and Macintosh School of Business. Anne was employed by the Massachusetts Division of Employment Security for 43 years as head interviewer. She was a member of All Saints Parish. Love of family was her passion, especially times spent with her grandchildren, Kristin and Lauren, whom she adored. Anne was an avid gardener, outstanding cook, and die hard Red Sox fan. She thoroughly enjoyed summers on Lake Winnipesaukee, swimming for hours with her grandchildren. Anne cherished her two Cocker Spaniels, Onyx and Romeo, who were great companions.
A special thanks to the staff at Hannah Duston for the exceptional care and comfort afforded to Anne during her extended illness. She was predeceased by her husband of 41 years, Willard Green, and her sister, Mary and husband John Dillon of Haverhill. Anne will be deeply missed by her son, William Green and his wife Claire of Andover; her two grandchildren, Kristin Lyn Green of Boston, and Lauren Ann Son, and her husband John David Son of Aurora, Ill.; niece Joanne and the late Donald McDermott of Windham, N.H., niece Marilyn Jenkins and her husband Ralph of Haverhill, and several great nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: Visiting hours will be held Thursday morning from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Paul C. Rogers Family-Scatamacchia Funeral Home 334 Main St. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in All Saints Church at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery in Bradford.
