Georgetown and Manchester, NH — Gerald "Jerry" Baker Sr., 70, of Georgetown, Mass., and Manchester, N.H., died after complications from a brief illness at Portsmouth N.H. Regional Medical Center on June 26, with family at his side.
Jerry was born on December 17, 1942, to Donald and Mary Baker of Lynn, Mass.
Jerry was a retired furniture salesman who worked in the furniture industry most of his adult life. He was well known as one of the best furniture salesman in the area and owned his own furniture store for many years in Raymond and Stratham, N.H.
He was an avid lover of motorcycles, boats, and classic autos. He loved spending afternoons working on his property in Georgetown, the springtime and the flowers in the garden. He was a person who saw past his own needs or wants to extend a hand to others. He loved cooking for and visiting with family and friends.
Jerry is preceded in death by his son, Kevin; parents, Donald and Mary; and siblings, Scott and Patty. He is survived by his brothers, Donald and Wayne; his sister Nancy; and his life partner, Rebecca.
He will be greatly missed by all who knew him, but especially by his children, his son, Jerry Jr., and daughters AnnMarie, Meaghen and Kristen.
We all love you Dad. You will be forever missed but never forgotten.
