Emile J. Dodier, 82

Dracut, MA — Emile J. Dodier, 82, of Dracut, MA and formerly of Haverhill, died Monday, November 19, 2012, at his home.

Born in Haverhill, MA, the son of Edward J. and Emma (Gardner) Dodier, he attended St. Joseph Grammar School. Mr. Dodier worked in local shoe factories as an elevator operator, and also was employed at the former Western Electric Company, North Andover, MA and most recently with his brother, Raymond, in the operation of the Metrix TV Repair Shop in Plaistow, NH.

He was a member of the former St. Joseph Parish, Haverhill, MA.

He is survived by two brothers, Ronald Dodier of Honolulu, Hawaii and Raymond Dodier of Auburn, NH; a sister and brother-in-law, Yvonne and James Meehan of Haverhill; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by brothers, Roland Dodier, Edward Dodier and Lucien Dodier.

ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends may call on Saturday, November 24, 2012, from 9:30 to 10:45 AM at Berube-Comeau Funeral Home, 47 Broadway, Haverhill, MA. His funeral service will follow at 11 AM at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Haverhill at a later date.
