Lawrence, MA — Andrew W. "Bill" Waring, 72, of Lawrence, passed away on Wednesday, June 12, 2013, at Lawrence General Hospital.
The son of the late Andrew and Beatrice (Hart) Waring, Bill was born in Lawrence on July 18, 1940. Bill was educated in Methuen schools. Bill was employed as a machine operator for Converse Rubber Co., in Andover, Viva Macaroni Co., in Lawrence and at Prince Macaroni Co. in Lowell. After his formal retirement, Bill was a security guard at Rockingham Park in Salem, N.H., for many years. Bill was a lifelong resident of Greater Lawrence. He enjoyed hunting, snowmobiling, and all-terrain vehicles.
Bill is survived by his wife of 50 years, Frances J. (Baglione) Waring of Lawrence; his children, Donna Gagne and her husband, William, of Methuen, Linda Leavitt and her husband, Kevin, of Methuen, William P. Waring of Lawrence, and Lori Waring of Methuen; seven grandchildren, Khristen Platon, William Gagne, Josef Leavitt, Cristian Dellanno, Loren Dellanno, Maddox Sandman and Hayden Petitpas; three great-grandchildren, Camden, Victoria, and Alexis Platon; two brothers, John Waring and Paul Waring; five sisters, Ann Waring, Linda Iannalfo, Cheryl Pare, Patricia Messina and Carol Russell; and many nieces and nephews.
