Haverhill — Eva (Fallucchi) Cascone, 95, of Haverhill died Saturday, June 22, at the Hannah Duston Nursing Center, Haverhill.
She was born in Haverhill on December 11, 1917, and was the daughter of the late Peter and Angelina (Boccelli) Fallucchi.
Educated in the Haverhill School System, Mrs. Cascone graduated from Haverhill High School, Class of 1935.
For several years, she was employed as a fancy cementer at the former Allen Shoe in Haverhill, from which she retired in 1979.
A longtime member of the former St. George’s Church, Haverhill, and its Women’s Club, Mrs. Cascone was currently a member of Sacred Hearts Church, Bradford, as well as a member of the Shoe Worker Union of America.
Her greatest pleasure was time spent with her family. Mrs. Cascone enjoyed sewing, knitting and crocheting afghans, watching daily Mass on the Catholic Television Channel, cooking Italian food, playing cards, and cheering on the Red Sox with her best friend, Mary Laratonda.
For 60 years, she was the wife of the late Agostino “Gus” Cascone, who died in 1999. She will always be remembered as a loving mother to her three daughters, Joan M. Maher of Haverhill, Lois S. Chadwick and her husband, Roger of Haverhill, Maureen J. Madden and her husband, John of Duxbury; a cherished grandmother of John Madden and his wife, Elizabeth, Susan Bradford and her husband, Daniel, Deborah Lilley and her husband, Steven, Roger “Rusty” Chadwick Jr. and his wife, Stephanie, Kevin Chadwick and his wife, Whitney, Karen Grant and her husband, Geoffrey, Lisa Racicot and her husband, Steve, Daniel Maher and his wife, Julie and Steven Maher. Mrs. Cascone was very fond of her great-grandchildren, Matthew, Benjamin, Luke, and Joshua Chadwick, Emma Catherine, Gillian and Libby Chadwick, Tyler and Kaitlyn Bradford, Grady, Gavin and Grace Lilley, Taylia Racicot, Hailey, Lianna, and Sean Maher. She is also survived by a sister-in-law, Romilda “Dolly” Dow; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her two sisters, Melba DiZoglio and Flora Champey.

ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her funeral on Friday morning, June 28, at 10 a.m., from the H.L. Farmer & Sons Bradford Funeral Home, 210 So. Main St., Bradford, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11 a.m., in Sacred Hearts Church, Bradford. Visiting hours at the Bradford Funeral Home will be Thursday, from 4 to 7 p.m. Interment will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Haverhill.
