Methuen — Robert E. Corriveau, 69, of Methuen passed away suddenly Wednesday April 9, 2014, at Holy Family Hospital. Robert was born in Lawrence and was the son of the late Joseph P. and Charlotte “Lottie” (Harmon) Corriveau.
Robert retired in June of 1999 as Deputy Superintendent of the Middleton House of Corrections after a rewarding 31-year career in corrections. He served two years in the U.S. Army from 1966 to 1968. He derived his greatest pleasure from spending time with his family. Robert enjoyed watching all sports, doing puzzles and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Robert is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Lorraine (Bousquet) Corriveau of Methuen; and his loving children, Michelle L. Walsh and her husband, William T. of Readfield, Maine, and Michael R. Corriveau and his wife, Patricia E. of Methuen; his five cherished grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Robert also leaves his siblings, May R. LaFleur of Epping, N.H., James L Corriveau and his wife, Sharon, and Thomas H. Corriveau, all of Methuen, and several nieces and nephews. Robert was also predeceased by his brother, Phillip G. Corriveau.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visiting hours on Sunday, April 13, at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley St., Methuen, from 1 to 3 p.m. with his services at 3 p.m. at the funeral home.
