Clarksburg, MA — Guilhermina Vieira, 94, died on Sunday at North Adams Commons. Mrs. Vieira was born and educated in Faial, Azores, Portugal, and was the daughter of the late Jose and Georgiana Rosa. A homemaker, Mrs. Vieira and her late husband, Francisco Luis, came to Lawrence in 1982. She was a former parishioner of Sts. Peter and Paul Church in Lawrence, and after moving to the Berkshires, she attended St. Patrick Church in Williamstown, Mass. Mrs. Vieira enjoyed reading the daily newspapers and crocheting.
She is survived by one son, Leo Dutra and his wife, Eunice (Avila) Dutra of Salem, N.H.; one daughter, Maria Ramos of Clarksburg, Mass.; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brothers, John and Eduardo; and a sister, Teresa. Mrs. Vieira was predeceased by a son, Eduardo Luis.
ARRANGEMENTS: A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, April 24, at 10 a.m., at Corpus Christi Parish at Holy Rosary Church, Lawrence. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Lawrence.
