Haverhill, MA — Teresa M. (Colleto) Zingale, 79, of Haverhill died on April 27, 2014, at Merrimack Valley Hospital, Haverhill, following a lengthy illness.
Born, raised, and educated in Haverhill, daughter of the late Evangeline (Fisette) and Antonio Colleto, she attended Haverhill High School. She and her late husband, Louie, operated Louie’s Oil Company in Haverhill for 40 years.
A member of All Saints Parish and the former St. Rita’s Parish, she was also a former member of the Crescent Yacht Club and the Dustin Drifters Snowmobile Club. She enjoyed many years vacationing with her husband and family on Lake Winnipesaukee and enjoyed cooking, raising flowers and plants, fishing, boating, ice-skating, motorcycling, and snowmobiling. Most importantly, Teresa was a devoted and loving mother and friend to her daughter, Mary Ann. Her granddaughter, Angela was the light of her life. A very giving and caring individual, her door was open to anyone in need.
Wife of the late Louie Zingale, she is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Mary Ann and Warren Gilman of Danville, N.H.; a granddaughter, Angela T. Coppola of Danville, N.H.; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Antonio and Roberta Colleto of Ward Hill and Americo and Janet Colleto of Haverhill; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters, Stella Pews and Dolores Musso.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends may call on Wednesday, April 30, 2014, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main Street, Route 121A, Plaistow, NH. Her funeral will be held on Thursday, May 1, 2014, at 10 a.m. in the funeral home, followed by burial in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Haverhill, MA.
