Methuen — Eileen (O’Donnell) Fleming passed away peacefully at the Methuen Health & Rehabilitation Center in Methuen, surrounded by her loving family. She was 92 years old.
Born in Lowell, MA, Eileen was the daughter of the late Gladys (Shaw) and John O’Donnell. She was the wife of the late Francis O. Fleming.
Eileen lived in Methuen for over 50 years and retired from Almy’s Department Store in Methuen, where she was known as “the curtain lady.” She was a communicant of Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish in Methuen. Her family and anyone who knew her will always remember her contagious laugh and the unconditional love she showed to anyone she came in contact with.
Eileen will be deeply missed by her two daughters, Linda Michaud and Debra Romanshyn; four grandchildren, Michael Robito, Eric Robito, Crystal Pacheco and her husband, Daniel, and Marc Michaud and his wife, Julie; six great-grandchildren, Abigail Robito, Frankie Robito, Anthony Robito, Kora Robito, Aiden Pacheco, and Nevaeh Pacheco; three brothers, John O’Donnell, Thomas O’Donnell and William O'Donnell; three sisters-in-law; Franny, Millie and Dorothy O’Donnell; and many beloved nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by a son, Francis M. Fleming.
ARRANGEMENTS: At the request of the family, there will be no calling hours. However, relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral mass at Our Lady of Good Counsel/St. Theresa Church, 22 Plymouth Street, Methuen, on Thursday, December 27 at 10 a.m.
