Mary T. Morris, 84


Methuen — Mary T. (Finn) Morris, 84, of Methuen, formerly of Everett, died peacefully Saturday, December 22, 2012 in Holy Family Hospital, Methuen.

Mary, daughter of the late George C. and Julia “Sheila” (Collins) Finn was born in Everett on August 31, 1928. Her husband, Robert J. Morris, Sr. died in 2003.

She graduated from Everett High School in 1946 and prior to her retirement, was employed as a secretary for many years. Mary had been an accomplished pianist and enjoyed sewing, reading and arts and crafts. More recently, she took great joy in the company of her children and grandchildren.

Mary will be deeply missed by her children; Judith M. Allen and her husband Christopher of Methuen, Robert J. Morris, Jr. and his wife Tarlisha of Methuen and Linda A. MacNeill and her husband Steven of Wakefield; her siblings, Barbara O’Connell and her husband Eugene of Saugus, Jeremiah Finn and his wife Adrienne of Melrose and Sheila Larson and her husband David of Reading; one sister-in-law, Judith Finn of Topsfield, 10 grandchildren and several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by one brother, George C. Finn, Jr. of Saugus

ARRANGEMENTS: Family and friends will gather to honor and celebrate Mary’s life in a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Monica’s Church, 212 Lawrence St., Methuen on Friday, December 28, 2012 at 9 AM. Burial will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, North Andover. Friends will be warmly received in the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence St., Methuen on Thursday from 4-8 PM.
