Methuen, MA — Love all whom you hold dear. Precious is the time that you share. Do not wait for tomorrow, for tomorrow may not be. Marjorie E. (Merchant) Bistany, 81, of Methuen, died peacefully Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at Lawrence General Hospital in Lawrence after a lengthy illness and went home to be with her parents, her husband Emile, her children Mikel E. Bistany and Linda E. Bistany and her sister, Eva J. Merchant who predeceased her.

Marjorie, daughter of the late Herbert N. and Eva M. (Leach) Merchant, was born in Methuen on March 20, 1931 and lived in Lawrence, North Andover, Andover and Methuen..

She and her husband owned and operated the former S.A. Bistany Clothing Store in Lawrence. She was also a secretary at Morgan Stanley and an enthusiastic collector of antiques.

She will be missed by her cousins, Ruth Mason of Franklin, New Hampshire, Claire Linton, Gladys and Donald George, Isabel Bistany, Raymond Voter and his wife Pamela, Philip Bistany, Roy Bistany and Thomas Bistany, all of Methuen, John Voter and his wife Elizabeth of Salem, New Hampshire and Isabel Brown of North Andover, three nephews, Michael Bistany and David Bistany, both of Methuen and Thomas DiLello of Westford and friends, Muriel B. Charron, Elaine Becotte and Peter Bifano.

ARRANGEMENTS: Family and friends will honor and celebrate Marjorie’s life by gathering for her Funeral Service in the New Hope Methodist Church, 10 Phillips St., Methuen on Monday, February 4, 2013 at 10 AM. Rev. Jeremiah Peters will officiate. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery, Methuen. Calling Hours in the KENNETH H. POLLARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Lawrence St., Methuen are from 1-4 PM on Sunday. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Lazarus House, PO Box 408, Lawrence, MA 01842-0808. He was an avid Patriots, Red Sox, Celtics and Bruins fan. He was a talented athlete, having played in Methuen Little League and Methuen Recreational Basketball. Jason enjoyed playing pool and spending time with his friends and cousins. He found great joy in spending time with his family at cookouts and family gatherings. Jason was most proud of his role as an uncle and adored his nephew, Cameron, and nieces, Emma and Ella.

Atkinson, NH — Charliene P. Moore died May 16, 2013, in Pleasant Valley, N.H., after a long illness from cancer. She was born in Cambridge, Mass., on Aug. 16, 1945, daughter of the late Pearl and Charles Moore. She grew up in Everett, Mass., and graduated from Malden High. Charliene worked at the IRS for 20 years and for Securitas Services where her security assignments included stints at Sweetheart Plastics, Hewlitt Packard and Global Insights. She fought a long, hard battle with cancer and through it all loved her co-workers and friends. Charliene is survived by her longtime companion, Linda McAdams of Atkinson, N.H., and “Mac,” her furry little friend. Special thanks for the love and support given by the Nursing Staff from the Pleasant Valley Nursing Home and the Compassionate Hospice Care, where memorial donations may be sent in lieu of flowers to 25 Nashua Road #3, Londonderry, NH 03053.
